Active Service Reception

• Check the HVAC system
• Check the condition of the front seat belts
• Inspect the interior lighting, including the dashboard and storage compartment
• Check the pedals for unusual noises
• Make sure the clutch functions as it should
• Check the oil level (for vehicles without a dipstick)

On the outside, you and your service advisor will check the exterior of your Jaguar. You will check for damage to the glass, body, or paint. In addition, we will check the condition of the windshield wiper blades.

You and the service advisor will then turn your attention to the engine compartment. Together, you will check all fluid levels, including the engine oil (for vehicles with a dipstick), brake fluid, coolant, and more. In addition, the service advisor will be looking for fluid leaks and checking to see that the engine is clean and free of damage.

The front end of your Jaguar may be where you spend most of your time, but the rear is also important — both inside and out. You and your service advisor will:

• Check the function and condition of the rear seat belts
• Make sure that your first aid kit is in good condition, and that you have safety vests and spare bulbs
• Check the condition of the locking wheel nut (if applicable)
• Check the luggage compartment lighting

Next up, our service advisor will raise your Jaguar up on the lift, allowing you to take an even closer look at eye level. At this level, you and the service advisor will:

• Check for paint and body damage, as well as damage on the tires and wheels
• Inspect the brakes
• Check the shock absorbers for fluid leaks
• Check the suspension clearance

We finish up your Active Service Reception by lifting your Jaguar even higher up on the lift. This allows you and the service advisor to take a closer look and perform the following:

• Inspect the brakes more closely
• Check the tire wear
• Inspect the underside for fluid leaks
• Inspect the front and rear axles
• Visually inspect the exhaust system
• Check the chassis for corrosion and damage
• Check the condition of the gaiter
